Yesterday I got a paper back in my poetry class. It was a poetry book review of
Dallas Clayton's "The Greatest Writer Alive". My professor wrote on the paper, "So what makes this poetry as opposed to prose that has line breaks?"
I'll tell you how. You read his writing, and you say, "Oh, how poetic and thoughtful. I like this poem."
That's how. And that's also how you get 75% on your poetry book review.
Also, last night I had a dream that I was taking a two-week break from Pinterest. Because it was required for my poetry class, or something like that. I woke up and thought, "Phew. It was just a dream."
Just kidding. I didn't think that. Because Pinterest is the devil. And I don't really like it very much. And I have 1,755 pins to prove it. [Before you judge me, just go drool over
this.]
Can we never mention Pinterest ever again on this blog?
