My throat will discontinue in its soreness. Before it amounts to anything severe.
I demand it.

I am a countdown type of person. I count down to everything in every way possible so as to partially understand the time process between now & later.

For instance,

"In one hour I will only have two hours of work left."

"Three weeks. Four Sundays. Nine work shifts. Give or take. Ish."

"In twenty-eight days, there will be four days until my birthday."

But apparently one cannot always count down to the arrival of envelope-encased messages. Unfortunately.

I was like that during my pregnancy. "Only 4 more Sundays in nursery." "Only 3 more doctor appointments."

Now that I have my baby I have stopped counting down... I prefer to stop time and forget what day it is altogether. Maybe that way my baby will stop growing and stay little forever.

I like how creative you are with your count downs. It makes long waits seem shorter :) I will try that when I decide time can begin to move again.

Is there a countdown for a phone call?

i rather enjoy this... a lot. It is nice to know that I am not the only one to countdown eccentrically. The way I see it, as long as there is a countdown you're always going to be looking forward to something, even if it is just a switch in the countdown. Right?
